Hootie and the Blowfish Come to Shreveport/Bossier!

Hootie & The Blowfish will be appearing at Sam’s Town on Friday, November 17th !

Their hits include: “Hold My Hand”, “Time”, “Only Want To Be With You” and “Let Her Cry” among many more.

Their live concert begins at 8 p.m. on Friday, November 17th in the Grand Ballroom, 2nd level of the hotel. Tickets can be purchased at the Shreveport Trading Company. Tickets are $30 with a Prime Rewards card and $40 without. Its hot entertainment and cool times……….. at Sam’s Town Hotel & Casino Shreveport.

15th Annual Pumpkin Shine on Line

You can't miss this wonderful fall tradition!

Betty Virginia Park will be all lit up Thursday, October 26th. For the 15th year in a row, the pathways around the park will glow with the light of jack-o-lanterns carved by children, school classes, families and expert pumpkin artists. Pizza, soft drinks and other concessions will be available. Entertainment provuded by area school bands and choirs.
The fun starts at 5:30 p.m.

Rain date is Oct. 27.

The State Fair of Louisiana 2006

It's the 100th Anniversary of the State Fair of Louisiana. The theme for the fair this year is the WILD 100!!

Hours of operation:
Begins Thursday, October 26th and runs through Sunday, November 12th. The fair will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
